The MCF is a specially designed anode grounded X-ray tube. Therefore the cathode is on the HT side and needs to have negative polarity and additionally the filament supply on HT. These X-ray tubes are electrostatic focalized only and provide a homogeniously electron beam all along the alonguated rod anode. X-ray output is starting from 60 kV to 75 kV and 100 kV applications. These tubes are made mainly for the non destructive testing purposes, but equipped with different target constructions like transmission or reflection on a concial or flat target. The HT cable can be glued in for a maintenance free usage at the endusers side with very flexible HT cables up to 75 kV (up to 100 kV on special request). Standard cables with an R24 cone can be inserted directly into the tube receptacle. For long time X-ray emission stability the full tube body is water-cooled and the anode can be powered up to 500 W. The radiation shielding made of lead free materials is already built in. The emission angles are custom made and can be machined.
